Beyond its role as a grinder, the object’s geometry creates compartments for storing a lighter and rolling papers, integrating multiple tools into a single form. Yet its shape evokes a more somber reflection: the coffin as a reminder of the potential harms and consequences of drug use. Balancing utility with metaphor, the piece transforms a common object of everyday culture into a vessel for commentary on mortality and consumption.
